Job description
This is how you support our team
- As an IT administrator at our Berlin location, you are the central point of contact on-site and ensure the stable operation of the IT infrastructure
- You qualify and process incident reports and service requests in the ticket system, from first to second-level support
- You support employees with all questions regarding PC hardware, MS operating systems, and Microsoft 365
- You analyze and resolve errors on workstations, servers, and in the network
- You set up and manage desktop workstations and mobile devices (e.g., laptops, mobile phones, printers)
- You perform updates, patches, and backups, thus ensuring a good patch level and high system availability
- You support the IT team across locations in the areas of firewall and network (e.g., firewall administration, VPN/IPsec, network troubleshooting)
- You participate in IT projects for the further development and automation of the infrastructure
- You document systems, configurations, and support in a comprehensible manner
This is what you bring
- You have a completed degree in IT, computer science or similar, or a comparable vocational training
- You have at least three years of professional experience in a similar position
- You have sound knowledge of network technologies (LAN/WLAN, VLAN, routing, VPN) and experience in firewall administration
- You are familiar with Windows Server and its associated technologies (AD, DHCP, DNS, DFS)
- You have basic knowledge of Microsoft 365
- You have experience in first and second-level support as well as in the installation and configuration of Microsoft products
- Ideally, you have initial knowledge of VMware, Azure, and Veeam Backup
- You speak good English, both written and spoken, and can communicate confidently within the international team
- You are willing to travel to our other locations occasionally
- You work analytically, conceptually, and solution-oriented, also in a team across locations
- You work very independently and have a hands-on mentality, because as an on-site administrator, you make decisions independently and get stuck in
