IT System Administrator (all genders welcome)

• As an IT administrator at our Berlin site, you will be the central point of contact on-site and ensure the stable operation of the IT infrastructure
• You will qualify and process incident reports and service requests in the ticketing system, from first to second-level support
• You will support employees with all questions regarding PC hardware, MS operating systems, and Microsoft 365
• You will analyze and resolve errors on workstations, servers, and in the network
• You will set up and manage desktop workstations and mobile devices (e.g., laptops, mobile phones, printers)
• You will perform updates, patches, and backups, thus ensuring a good patch level and high system availability
• You will support the IT team across locations in the areas of firewall and network (e.g., firewall administration, VPN/IPsec, network troubleshooting)
• You will participate in IT projects for the further development and automation of the infrastructure
• You will document systems, configurations, and support in a comprehensible manner

• You have a completed degree in IT, computer science, or a related field, or a comparable vocational training
• You have at least three years of professional experience in a similar position
• You have sound knowledge of network technologies (LAN/WLAN, VLAN, routing, VPN) and experience in firewall administration
• You are familiar with Windows Server and its associated technologies (AD, DHCP, DNS, DFS)
• You have basic knowledge of Microsoft 365
• You have experience in first and second-level support as well as in installing and configuring Microsoft products
• Ideally, you have initial knowledge of VMware, Azure, and Veeam Backup
• You have good English skills, both spoken and written, and can communicate confidently in an international team
• You are willing to travel to our other locations occasionally
• You work analytically, conceptually, and solution-oriented, also as part of a team across locations
• You work very independently and have a hands-on mentality, as you will be making decisions independently and getting involved directly as the on-site administrator
