IT System- and Network Administrator (m/w/d)

Tasks

• Taking over Second and Third Level Supports in central IT with responsibility for complex technical inquiries, as well as quick, competent, and sustainable solutions.
• Analyzing complex IT problems and structured guidance of users until successful resolution.
• Administering internal server systems, Active Directory, and various applications within a virtualized IT infrastructure to ensure smooth operations in all departments.
• Supporting telephone IT support, including direct clarification of requests and service-oriented communication at first contact.
• Maintaining the company-wide network infrastructure with focus on stability, security, and availability.
• Installing, maintaining, and configuring IT hardware, as well as testing new components before company-wide deployment.
• Participating in planning and implementation of company-wide IT projects and active involvement in further development and modernization of the IT landscape.
• Service-oriented communication on an equal footing with all departments within the Van Mossel Automotive Group.
• Efficient organization of own tasks, even at high inquiry volumes, with a clear focus on quality and solution orientation.
• Careful documentation of solutions and recurring error patterns to create a transparent knowledge base and accelerate future support requests.

Qualification

• Multiple years of professional experience in IT support or system administration, ideally in Second or Third Level environments.
• Fundamental knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and maintenance of applications and IT infrastructures.
• Structured, responsible work style with the ability to maintain an overview even when dealing with parallel requests.
• Outstanding technical understanding and the ability to explain complex issues in a clear and service-oriented manner.
• Solution-oriented thinking, self-initiative, and joy in continuously improving existing processes and IT structures.
• Safe handling of ticket systems and careful documentation of own work.
• Teamwork skills, openness to new technologies, and motivation to actively shape a modern and service-oriented IT environment.
