IT System & Network Administrator (m/f/d) - Full-time (30-40h)

BogenSportWelt is one of the leading providers of archery sports equipment in Europe. We sell our range of products both domestically and within the EU through our own online shops, various marketplaces, B2B dealers & 3 specialist stores. In addition to our own fulfillment, we also use Amazon Fulfillment. To future-proof our IT infrastructure, we are looking for a pragmatic, reliable IT System and Network Administrator (m/f/d) who takes responsibility and has our systems under control.

Tasks

• Server Landscape & Virtualization: Support, maintenance, and optimization of our Microsoft server environment based on Hyper-V
• Active Directory & User Management: Continuation and standardization of our Active Directory structure as well as user and rights management in cooperation with our IT system house
• Databases & Data Security: Administration and monitoring of Microsoft SQL Servers, performing data backups, and setting up and monitoring backup routines
• Network Infrastructure: Support of our local network (switches, routers, routing, LAN, WLAN, VLANs) as well as practical cabling and cabinet maintenance on-site
• Workstations & Logistics Technology: Provisioning, configuration, and support of employee PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile phones, cash registers, POS, and workstation hardware in the shipping and warehouse areas
• Rapid Fault Resolution: Fixing acute hardware and network problems (e.g., switch failures or workstation disruptions) to ensure logistics and administration remain operational
• Service Provider Coordination: Close coordination with our external IT partners (for emergency standby, vacation replacement, and larger project implementations)

Qualifications

• Successfully completed training as an IT Specialist System Integration (m/f/d), IT System Electronics Technician, or comparable qualification / well-founded professional experience in system administration.
• In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft server environment and practical experience with virtualization (ideally Hyper-V).
• Network know-how & Hands-on mentality: Good understanding of networks (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, switches, routers) combined with the willingness to get hands-on on-site (hardware replacement, patch panel, etc.)
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server administration and backup concepts.
• Structured troubleshooting, reliability, and a cool head when things get critical.
• Optional: Experience in the e-commerce environment or with ERP systems (like JTL-Wawi).
