IT System & Network Technician

Emmi Desserts Italia (EDIT) is a leader in the production of fresh desserts and part of the Swiss Emmi group, present in over 40 countries. In Italy, we are over 450 people spread across three production sites and the Headquarter in Gattico-Veruno (NO).

Someone who wants to understand the business and interact with people, who can manage networks and security, but also interface with users and has the attitude to build and improve, not just maintain.

You will join a young, modern, dynamic, and internal-customer-oriented IT team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Participation/Management and development of infrastructure projects (networking, security)
• Operational management of the IT network infrastructure at the sites
• Optimization of local IT processes
• User support with attention to service quality
• Configuration and troubleshooting of:

o LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi networks

o firewalls and access (VPN, segmentation, policies, SD-WAN)

o client and server systems

• Maintenance and updating of IT systems (hardware/software)

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in IT field (or equivalent experience)
• Work experience in IT field (ideally 2-5 years)
• Basic/intermediate knowledge of:
• networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, Wi-Fi)
• firewalls and perimeter security (e.g., VPN, rules, segmentation, SD-WAN)
• Good knowledge of the Windows environment and Microsoft ecosystem
• Operational English (written and spoken)

Will be considered a plus:

• scripting / automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• interest in security or cloud
• experience with UNIX environments
