About Dukers

Dukers is a spin-off of Swisscom, based in St. Gallen. We plan, implement, and operate the IT for organizations that want to entrust their IT to reliable hands.

Our clients receive a one-stop solution: workplaces, networks, servers, cloud services, and communication are set up, continuously monitored, kept up-to-date, and secured by us. We are responsible for the operation – with permanent contact persons who know their clients' environments.

We have particular depth in cloud infrastructures and UCC, supported by strong partnerships with Swisscom and Microsoft. Our team consists of specialists with many years of experience – with the standards of a large provider and the commitment of a partner who knows their clients personally.

Your Role

You are the technical point of contact for your clients. You know their environments, operate them reliably, and independently implement adjustments, installations, and rollouts – from configuration and commissioning to documentation. For migrations and larger projects, you will collaborate with our specialists for network, security, and cloud.

You take responsibility for your tasks and make daily decisions independently. The team is behind you for challenging questions.

Your Tasks

• You manage your clients' IT environments, understand their requirements, and are their reliable technical point of contact.

• You administer Microsoft 365 tenants: Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Defender, Exchange Online.

• You operate clients, networks, and server systems, analyze faults, and sustainably resolve their causes.

• You independently implement adjustments, installations, and rollouts and collaborate on migrations and projects.

• You identify areas where an environment can become more secure or stable and make concrete suggestions.

• You document your work cleanly so that every environment remains comprehensible to the entire team.

• Virtualization: VMware Cloud Director, Hyper-V, Proxmox

• Network: Ubiquiti UniFi, Cisco, HPE Aruba

• Security: Fortinet, Versa, Cisco

• Data Center: Own infrastructure in one of the most secure and sustainable data centers in Switzerland, on which we operate our solutions and those of our clients

• Operation: Backup, monitoring, and ticketing with tools that we develop and further develop ourselves

We operate networks and security as managed services – as a Value Added Reseller for Swisscom for our joint clients. If you want to build depth here, you will find the right environment with us.

What You Bring

• Completed apprenticeship in the IT field, for example as an IT specialist EFZ, or a comparable qualification

• Experience in administering Microsoft 365 environments – ideally with Entra ID, Intune, and Defender

• Solid network knowledge: IP addressing, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP are familiar to you, and routing and firewall rule sets are not foreign concepts

• Enjoy direct customer contact and the ability to explain technical topics understandably

• Independent, structured, and reliable way of working

• Willingness to learn and interest in contributing your knowledge to the team

• Very good German skills, both written and spoken

• Driver's license category B

Ideally, you have already managed client environments independently. If you are at the beginning of your career but have the technical foundations and the will to learn, we would also like to get to know you. Your tasks and your responsibility will grow with your abilities – the onboarding is designed accordingly.

Your Workplace and Your Assignments

Your daily work combines assignments at clients in Eastern Switzerland and the Zurich area with work and exchange in our office in the city of St. Gallen. We are looking for you in St. Gallen and the surrounding area.

The office is conveniently located: The Kreuzbleiche highway entrance and exit are three minutes away, Winkeln five minutes. The Schönenwegen bus stop is one minute away. Parking is free. In addition, there is our own small park, a balcony directly at the office with a grill – and a view of the Geissli next door.
