IT System Engineer Projects (m/f/d) - Nuremberg

Full Time Entry Level

Job description

Your Field of Activity

Do you prefer to think in projects rather than tickets and like to take responsibility from conception to go-live? For our Nuremberg location, we are looking for an IT System Engineer - Projects (m/f/d) who will be technically responsible for complex IT infrastructure projects for our clients.

Your tasks:

  • You conceive, plan, and implement IT infrastructure projects at our clients' sites - from server and network infrastructures to cloud and hybrid solutions
  • You take on technical responsibility in the project and, together with our consulting and sales team, translate customer requirements into robust solution concepts
  • You implement migrations from on-premises environments to cloud and hybrid scenarios - for example, with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure - and also support our clients after the project in transitioning to operations
  • You contribute your expertise in at least one focus area - e.g., Microsoft Azure, Network & Security, Cloud Architecture, or Microsoft 365 - and further expand your expertise in this area as an internal contact person
  • You create technical documentation and operating concepts and share your knowledge across teams

Your Profile

  • Completed apprenticeship in IT or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in IT system engineering, as a system administrator, or in a comparable role - ideally in a system house or project environment
  • In-depth knowledge in several of the following areas: Windows Server, Active Directory, network technology, virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware), and Microsoft 365
  • Experience in the independent implementation of IT projects directly at the customer's site
  • Very good German language skills in speaking and writing, as well as the ability to explain complex technical contexts clearly and appropriately for the target audience
  • Structured, solution-oriented way of working and enjoyment in independently solving technical challenges and actively driving projects forward
  • Driver's license class B for project appointments with clients in Nuremberg and the region

Look forward to

  • Freedom & Scope for Design: Short decision-making paths, plenty of room for initiative - you actively shape the development of our Nuremberg location
  • Stability & Future Prospects: Permanent employment, security of a family-owned, owner-managed company that has grown since 1996 with its own data center in Regensburg
  • Flexibility & Work-Life Balance: Flexible working time models, short Fridays, flexi-holidays (25 to 35 days), overtime compensation, and special leave (e.g., for moving)
  • Structured Onboarding: Very good support in familiarizing yourself with the subject areas - so you feel comfortable with us from the start
  • Focus on Further Development: Regular development discussions, internal and external training, and certifications - so you always stay up-to-date professionally
  • Team Spirit: A team that uses 'du', pitches in, and sticks together - complemented by diverse team events
  • Various Benefits: Free drinks, company bike, discounts via "Corporate Benefits"
