IT System Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for you as a team member of our IT Consulting department at the Bochum location as soon as possible. Become part of the thinkGROUP and support us as an IT System Engineer (m/f/d).

Tasks

• Operational responsibility for our customers' Windows Server infrastructure, including the products and features used
• Processing of incidents and service requests
• Proactive monitoring of Windows Servers in customer environments
• Independent adjustment of system configurations and the creation and supplementation of corresponding documentation
• Independent installation and project takeover in the area of Windows Server
• Migration of older installations to current standards, including all dependencies
• Technical advice to customers in connection with the current operating scenario

Qualifications

• Completed technical degree or comparable training (e.g., IT Specialist System Integration)
• Several years of professional experience in the aforementioned tasks
• Knowledge of Windows 2008 - 2019 technologies, including migration paths for individual services
• Knowledge of Windows Server up to 2024
• Service-oriented and reliable working style
• Confident demeanor and good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Practical experience in firewalling and Windows PowerShell knowledge are an advantage
• Certifications such as MCSA/MCSE and experience in incident and problem management are desirable
• Driving license B car/minibus (old: FS 3) is desirable
