For our partner, an established software company focused on the digitalization of healthcare facilities, we are looking for an IT System Engineer (m/f/d).

Together with your team, you will ensure that modern Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Document Management Systems (DMS) are reliably implemented, operated, and continuously developed for customers.

A complex system landscape with numerous technical interfaces and individual customer customizations awaits you. Instead of standardized routine tasks, you will work on tailor-made solutions and be the technical point of contact for customers – from implementation and system extensions to error analysis and optimization.

Tasks

• Installation, configuration, and commissioning of modern Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Document Management Systems (DMS)
• Support of complex Windows system landscapes and execution of software updates and release changes
• Setup, configuration, and optimization of technical interfaces and execution of data migrations
• Analysis and resolution of technical faults via remote access in 2nd level support
• Close cooperation with 1st level support on the customer side for sustainable problem-solving
• Direct exchange with customers for analysis of technical requirements and development of individual solutions
• Support of IT consultants and project teams with technical questions
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and knowledge bases
• Participation in a 19-person team, divided into three specialized departments
• Active shaping and continuous optimization of existing IT infrastructures and system landscapes

Qualification

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or an apprenticeship as an IT specialist for system integration or a comparable IT qualification
• Professional experience as an IT System Engineer, System Administrator, IT Consultant, IT Support Engineer, Technical Consultant, or IT System Administrator
• Very good knowledge in the Microsoft Windows Server environment
• Experience in administering complex IT infrastructures
• Good knowledge in the area of network technology (TCP/IP, DNS, Active Directory, network communication, or comparable technologies)
• Experience with SQL and basic database understanding
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language and the ability to analyze and understand scripts – without having to develop software yourself
• Analytical thinking skills and enjoyment in understanding complex technical relationships
• Strong service and customer orientation as well as confident demeanor in direct customer dialogue
• Team spirit, initiative, and structured working method
• Fluent German skills and good English skills
