For the further development of the internal IT landscape, an experienced individual is sought who will take responsibility for the Microsoft environment, automate processes, and develop digital solutions together with the business departments.

Your Responsibilities

As an IT System Engineer, you will take responsibility for the further development of a modern IT environment and support in making processes more efficient, secure, and digital.

• Microsoft 365 & Azure: Administration, support, and continuous development of the Microsoft 365 environment with Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Entra ID, as well as the Azure environment with Host Pools, virtual networks, and storage accounts.

• System Administration: Management of user accounts, groups, policies, and security roles, as well as ensuring a stable and secure IT infrastructure.

• Onboarding & Offboarding: Control of technical processes for new employees, including device provisioning, authorization management, and automation with Power Automate.

• Network & Security: Monitoring, maintenance, and configuration of the network infrastructure, as well as administration of the Sophos XGS Firewall, including rule sets, remote access, and security policies.

• Automation: Development and implementation of business process automations with tools like Power Automate, Power Apps, or n8n, from requirements gathering to live operation.

• Digitalization: Building technical foundations for automations, interfaces, and connectors, including governance, authorization, and release concepts.

• AI & Innovation: Use of modern AI tools like ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot to optimize internal processes and increase efficiency.

• Support & Projects: Support in 2nd and 3rd level support, management of your own IT projects, and further development of IT standards, documentation, and security processes.

• Knowledge Transfer: Support for business departments in the use of automation and AI tools through training, guidelines, and technical guidance.

Your Profile as an IT System Engineer

• Completed vocational training or a degree in IT, system administration, or a comparable qualification.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in system administration, as well as experience in the independent operation of an entire IT environment.

• Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies such as Intune, Entra ID, Teams, Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online.

• Practical experience of approximately 2-3 years with Microsoft Azure, especially with virtual machines, host pools, virtual networks, and storage accounts.

• Good knowledge of network technology such as LAN, WLAN, VLAN, DHCP, and DNS, as well as experience with Sophos Firewalls, ideally the XGS series.

• Experience in developing process automations with Power Automate, Power Platform, n8n, or comparable tools, as well as knowledge of PowerShell scripting, APIs, and webhooks.

• Structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented approach with the ambition to drive topics forward independently and implement them successfully.

• Strong understanding of processes and the ability to analyze requirements together with business departments and communicate technical solutions clearly.

• Enjoyment in sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and taking responsibility as a technical point of contact.

• Very good German language skills as well as good technical English.
