IT System Administrator (w/m/d)

Your Tasks

• You manage and develop our Linux systems further, which form the backbone of our infrastructure.
• You take responsibility for various topics in operational information security, including Endpoint Hardening, Vulnerability Management, IDS, SIEM, and more.
• You support our team on different levels and cover the entire spectrum of IT challenges.
• You contribute to the development and optimization of our IT processes to best support our growing user base.
• You drive automation and configuration management (IaC) forward to increase efficiency and reliability in our environment.
• You work closely with cross-functional teams together and uses modern agile methods like Kanban and Scrum.

Your Profile

• You bring several years of experience in administration and working with Linux systems.
• You have a solid background in operational information security.
• You have experience in 2nd- and 3rd-level support and enjoy solving many different technical challenges.
• You have a strong understanding of computer networks and common protocols (DNS, DHCP, IP, NTP, SSH, etc.).
• You have practical experience in developing and implementing IT processes.
• You bring knowledge in automation and configuration management (e.g., IaC) with you.
• You work independently and structured and place great value on high quality standards.
• You speak fluent English.
