IT Support Technician

Hire Resolve's client is looking for an IT Support Technician to join their team in Cape Town, WC. The IT Support Technician will play a vital role in maintaining the IT systems and providing exceptional technical support to internal users. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, implementing solutions, and ensuring that all IT equipment and software are functioning optimally. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users. Install, configure, update and maintain computer systems, networks, printers and other related equipment. Provide technical assistance and support to internal users. Identify and report potential problems or areas for improvement in the IT systems. Develop and implement procedures for troubleshooting and resolving common IT issues. Ensure that all IT equipment and software are functioning optimally. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as virus scanning, disk cleanups, and backup checks. Monitor and analyze system performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. Provide technical support to internal users via phone, email or in-person. Develop and maintain accurate records of all work performed. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
