As an IT Support Specialist, you are the contact person for internal users (teachers, administration and students). Together with another IT colleague, you ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and actively shape digital development. Tasks

Your tasks with us

• First-Level-Support: You are the first point of contact for IT questions and technical problems – by phone, remotely or directly on site.
• Client and device management: Support and maintenance of PCs, notebooks, printers, mobile devices (incl. iPads) and other peripherals.
• iPad Management: Inventory, configuration and management of school iPads via MDM solutions.
• System administration: Management of user accounts, access rights and network infrastructure.
• IT documentation: Creation and maintenance of instructions, processes and system overviews.
• IT projects & further development: Participation in exciting projects for the digitalization of everyday school life.
• IT security: Implementation and monitoring of measures to protect our systems and data.
• Technical equipment: Setup, configuration and commissioning of workstations and software solutions.

Qualification

What you should bring with you

• A completed training or studies in the IT field – or comparable practical experience.
• Enjoyment in dealing with people and a service-oriented mindset.
• Independent, structured way of working and a good sense of priorities.
• Sound knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with networks, user management and IT security is an advantage.
• Knowledge in the use and administration of Linux systems (e. g. Debian, Ubuntu, Linux Mint) is desirable, but not a must.
• Team spirit, willingness to learn and the ability to keep an overview even in stressful situations.
