IT Support Specialist (m/w/d)

Tasks

• First-Level-IT-Support for end-users (Hardware, Software, Network)
• Setup and configuration of workstations (PCs, operating systems, software)
• SUPPORT FOR THE OPERATION, MONITORING, AND MAINTENANCE OF IT AND NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE
• Participation in IT projects (migrations, upgrades, infrastructure improvements)
• Ensuring a stable IT operation at the Selb location, including escalation in case of disruptions
• Maintenance of technical documentation and inventory lists
• Participation in network and security topics (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs)
• SUPPORT FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF FORTINET ENVIRONMENTS

Qualification

• Completed training in the field of information technology
• 1-3 years of professional experience in IT support or IT infrastructure
• Good knowledge of Windows environments and basic network understanding
• Self-motivated, structured, and service-oriented working style
• Teamwork skills, including excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
• Experience with firewalls, network switches or virtualization environments
• Basic knowledge of IT security or Linux is desirable
