IT Support Specialist - (6-months contract)

Manpower For our renowned customer, an international IT services company based in Basel, we are currently looking for a motivated IT Support Specialist. If you have good technical understanding, enjoy working with customers and experience in IT support, this position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, international environment. Main tasks: - On-site and remote support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals - Processing and resolution of incidents and service requests through the Service Management Tool (e.g. ServiceNow) - Installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware as well as standard software packages - Support during onboarding and offboarding processes (including hardware provision, account creation, etc.) - Support for conference room technologies (e.g. video conferencing systems, AV equipment) - Documentation of support activities and maintenance of knowledge base articles - Collaboration with 2nd- and 3rd-level support as well as infrastructure teams when needed - Ensuring compliance with IT guidelines, processes, and security standards - Participation in the hardware lifecycle (e.g. imaging, upgrades, decommissioning) Requirements: - Completed IT training, technical diploma or equivalent professional experience - Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory - Good understanding of IT hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals) - Excellent customer orientation and communication skills - Experience with ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow) - Knowledge of SCCM, Intune or other endpoint management tools is an advantage - Very good German and English language skills are required - Swiss or EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit Are you interested in this opportunity?
