IT Support Officer - ST-FRC230705 003/01

The Company: A leading utilities company is expanding the team and is looking for a IT Support Officer for their Data Center. The Role: You will be responsible for the following as a IT Support Officer : Monitor, control, release, and process batch jobs according to production job plans where necessary. Monitor file transfers between internal and external systems and scheduled batch jobs closely and respond to any alert immediately. Maintain and keep up to date the Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all IT support tasks. Ensure that all SOPs are followed and updated as required. Provide technical assistance and support to users on a wide range of IT issues, including hardware, software, and network problems. Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related incidents in a timely and efficient manner. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Identify and report potential IT security risks and vulnerabilities. Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards. Provide training and guidance to users on the use of IT systems and applications. Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network components.
