IT Support Employee (m/f/d) in Dortmund or Düsseldorf

We are looking for an employee to support our customer, a well-established company from the IT service sector, in their User Help Desk. In this diverse service function, you will assist users with technical issues and significantly contribute to ensuring a smooth IT operation. You will work with structured processes and modern system landscapes to provide efficient solutions.

Tasks

• Main point of contact for IT-related inquiries
• Receipt, prioritization, and initial solution of incidents in the First-Level-Support
• Support in the Second-Level area for further technical topics
• Performance of IMAC tasks, such as installing and configuring new devices
• Processing, documentation, and follow-up on fault reports
• Maintenance of installed IT assets and performance of small administrative tasks
• Passing on and escalation of more complex cases to higher support levels

Qualification

• Completed technical training, for example in the field of system integration or application development, or equivalent
• Good knowledge of hardware and software as well as working with modern workplace systems
• Safe handling of Microsoft operating systems and common office applications
• Experience in First-Level-Support and working with ticket systems
• Solid knowledge of IMAC processes (installation, relocation, replacement, configuration)
• Basis knowledge in administrative topics such as user and rights management (e.g. directory services, mail administration)
• Communication skills, service orientation, and structured work style
