Job description

Vacatureomschrijving

You will be part of the One-IT Team that provides support to Eurofins entities within the Environment Testing divisions of Eurofins in the BeNeLux. The location for this position will initially be in Barneveld. After the relocation mid-2026, it will be Amersfoort.

Together with your direct colleagues, you will be the hands and eyes in the field. You are in this role an extension of the Service Desk (L1) and System Management Team (L3) to perform all IT-related requests, problems, incidents, and general work that needs to be done on locations. You will also be the face of IT at our various locations and it is therefore very important to have a good intuition and be communicatively strong in your shoes.

How does a working day look like.

You start your day with a nice cup of coffee (or tea) and then look within the ticket registration system (ServiceNow) if there are incidents or problems that have come in that require immediate attention. Then you work based on made agreements or scheduled site visits to complete all pre-agreed requests (this can be IT disruptions, or possibly a new employee who needs assistance with setting up/using their IT equipment). In consultation with your colleagues at the Service Desk, you discuss which additional requests have come in during the day so that you can go back to another location or close out the day.

Also part of your work:

  • The configuring, delivering, placing, and supporting of Laptops and Desktops for our end-users.
  • The placement of network equipment in collaboration with the system management team (Switches, Firewalls, and Access Points).
  • The provision of IT support for “business projects”, think about relocations or setting up new workspaces.
  • Working according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documenting standard recurring requests, incidents, or problems;
  • Improving customer satisfaction by identifying improvements in processes, systems, and working instructions.
