IT Support / IT Administrator - internal IT (m/w/d)

The thinkRED understands itself as an IT partner for authorities, municipalities and educational institutions in Germany. In large hardware and service framework agreements, the experts accompany customers from the public sector with detailed and individual consulting from infrastructure conception to hardware implementation to professional long-term support and media-pedagogical and technical training of users.

Tasks

• Maintenance and further development of our internal IT infrastructure (Windows/Microsoft environment)
• Administration of servers, clients, networks and Microsoft 365 services
• User and rights management in Active Directory as well as support for hardware and software problems
• Self-responsible patch and update management of our systems
• Documented systems, processes and configurations
• Support for IT projects, e.g. rollouts, migrations or introduction of new tools
• 1st- and 2nd-level support for our internal users – on-site and remote
• Coordination of external service providers and suppliers

Qualification

• Completed training in the IT sector or equivalent qualification
• In-depth knowledge of Windows system administration (servers & clients)
• Experience with network technologies as well as Microsoft 365
• Structured, self-reliant and service-oriented working style
• Teamwork ability and sense of responsibility
• Ideal experience with IT documentation tools and ticket systems
• Knowledge in IT security or virtualization is advantageous
