Job description

Every spring, the International Animation Film Festival Stuttgart (ITFS) transforms the city into the vibrant center of animation. The festival is one of the world's most important meeting places for the industry, bringing together filmmakers, industry professionals, and audiences in a unique festival week.

To ensure that not only the films but also the technology runs smoothly for us, we are looking for support for our IT Support starting from mid-October 2026. Depending on personal circumstances, the position can be undertaken as a mini-job or as working student employment.

Tasks

The job in detail:

  • Active support in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of end devices (such as laptops, PCs, printers) and their peripherals within the company network.
  • Support in planning and implementing software and hardware rollouts and regular security updates.

Qualifications

What you bring:

  • An apprenticeship or a degree in IT is helpful, but not a must. What counts most for us is that you know your way around and are eager to take on responsibility.
  • Initial experience in IT support, application management, or with software projects (e.g., through internships, part-time jobs, or study projects).
  • Good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, and common hardware and software solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of networks, printers, and peripheral devices is an advantage.
  • Fluent German (min. C1 level).

Benefits

What we offer:

  • Flexible employment as a mini-job or working student with a scope of approx. 8 hours per week. Working hours can be flexibly arranged in consultation; regular presence in our office is desirable.
  • Remuneration of €17 per hour.
  • The opportunity to work in a dedicated and collegial team where we value open and appreciative collaboration.
  • Exciting insights behind the scenes of one of the world's most important animation film festivals and into the diverse operations of an international cultural institution.

We actively promote equal opportunities and diversity and therefore welcome applications from people regardless of cultural and social background, age, religion, worldview, disability, or sexual orientation and gender identity.

Curious about us? Then send your application with CV and cover letter by e-mail by September 25, 2026.
