IT Support Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated personality as an IT Support Engineer (m/f/d) who feels at home in the areas of client, server, and network. Your main tasks include second and third-level support, both remotely and on-site. You will answer user inquiries, analyze and resolve disruptions, and document them for further processing.

Your tasks
Installation, configuration, and administration of client, server, and network components
Second and third-level support for complex disruptions in our customers' IT infrastructures
Support of Microsoft 365 environments, including management of services and applications in the Microsoft Cloud
Administration and operation of Active Directory, Exchange, and server infrastructures
Operation and maintenance of network components such as switches, firewalls, and WLAN
Software distribution as well as installation and configuration of operating systems
Disruption documentation and troubleshooting, including documentation of all solutions for future reference
Recording, prioritization, and processing of service requests in the ticket system

Your Profile
IT technical training (e.g., IT specialist for system technology / platform development), studies in IT, electrical engineering, or business informatics, or many years of professional experience
Experience in server environment administration, IT support, and knowledge in the network area
Very good knowledge in the area of Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS
Good knowledge in the area of Microsoft Server and cloud solutions
Knowledge in the area of Citrix / RDS environments
Knowledge in the area of Microsoft Exchange Server (e.g., /Exchange Online)
Knowledge of common office products, especially Outlook
System administration (Windows, Linux, SAN, Veeam, Active Directory, Microsoft 365)
Very good German, English, and Swiss German language skills. Italian is an advantage
