IT Support Engineer (f/m/d)

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for our employees with all technical inquiries. You will ensure a smooth operation of our internal IT infrastructure and support users in hardware, software, and local infrastructure matters.

Aufgabenbereich

• 1st- und 2nd-Level-Support: Receipt, qualification, and processing of IT disturbances and service requests via ticket system, phone, email, or at the front desk.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnosis and resolution of problems related to hardware (e.g. laptops, peripherals, mobile devices) and software (e.g. Windows, macOS, Google Workspace, Office products).
• User- und Zugriffsadministration: Management of user accounts, groups, and permissions in various identity management systems.
• Onboarding & Offboarding: Setting up workstations, managing user accounts, and conducting IT introductions for new employees as well as handling device returns.
• Device- und Software-Management: Support with software distribution, updates, and device management.
• Asset Management: Sensitive care of the IT inventory.
• Systemüberwachung: Monitoring systems and managing MDM/mail systems.
• Infrastruktur und Systeme: On-site support for meeting rooms, printers (including cabling/patching tasks possible).(/li)
• Dokumentation: Maintenance of the internal knowledge database and documentation of solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Ausbildung: Successfully completed vocational training as a specialist in system integration or a comparable technical qualification.
• Erfahrung: Professional experience in IT support or service desk environment (ideally both 1st- and 2nd-level tasks). Five years of professional experience are highly desirable.
• Technische Kenntnisse:
• Fundamental knowledge of Windows client operating systems (experience with Google Workspace administration and MS Intune is highly desirable).
• Basic knowledge in networks (TCP/IP, WLAN, VPN).
• Familiarity with ticket systems and remote support tools.
• Soft Skills: Excellent service orientation, patience when dealing with users, collegial and team-oriented working style, physical fitness for hardware installations, and a structured, self-reliant work style.

Sprachen:

• Deutsch: Verhandlungssicher (erforderlich).
• Englisch: Good knowledge (B2 or higher) for international cooperation.
