Job description
For our client from the banking sector in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced, motivated, and open-minded IT Support Analyst – Application Operations.
Your responsibilities:
- Analysis of recurring IT problems, identification of causes, and development of sustainable measures to reduce disruptions and improve system stability
- Technical analysis and reproduction of application errors in test environments, as well as close collaboration with developers, software suppliers, and internal IT teams
- Monitoring of banking applications and IT systems, as well as optimization, automation, and further development of existing monitoring processes and tools
- Configuration and administration of banking applications (especially OpenLease) according to business requirements, as well as management of system settings, workflows, and user roles
- First and Second Level application support, as well as support in Major Incident Management, including error diagnosis, prioritization, and stakeholder communication
- Processing of user access requests and management of authorizations in compliance with internal security guidelines
- Documentation of error analyses, workarounds, and configuration changes, as well as continuous maintenance of the knowledge base
Your profile:
- Experience in IT Application Support, Application Operations, or a comparable role, ideally in a complex IT environment
- Sound knowledge of Incident and Problem Management, as well as experience with IT Service Management tools, especially Jira and Confluence
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, as well as a structured and solution-oriented approach to work
- Technical understanding of complex application landscapes and the ability to systematically analyze errors and develop sustainable solutions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as external software suppliers
- High willingness to learn and quick comprehension when familiarizing with complex banking applications
- Experience with Monitoring Tools (especially Splunk), as well as basic knowledge of SQL for error analysis and data analysis are advantageous
- Knowledge of banking applications, regulatory requirements, and IT security guidelines are a plus
- Very good German and English skills
