As an IT Specialist (m/w/d) Infrastructure & Monitoring, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of central IT infrastructure services – from network to server and database to applications. Your focus lies on building, maintaining, and monitoring the systems to ensure safe and stable communication between all components. Tasks

  • Your main task lies in independently operating important IT infrastructure services and realizing requirements in the field of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR)
  • To achieve this, you will take on tasks in the operational IT operation
  • You will agree all changes with your team, communicate them, and implement them
  • Together with a technical project leader, you will realize IT projects and bring in independent ideas
  • You will translate professional requirements into technical solutions and develop existing solutions further
  • You will design necessary tests for the smooth introduction of IT services and changes, as well as document the results
  • You will also contribute to the creation and updating of technical documentation

Qualification

  • A completed degree in computer science, information technology or comparable, or a completed IT training
  • Experience in incident management and change management according to ITIL standards, as well as ideal knowledge of implementing operational and technical IT security guidelines (BSI IT-Grundschutz)
  • First experience with monitoring tools like Icinga2, Splunk or similar systems, as well as knowledge in the field of scripting and automation (e.g. Bash, Python, PowerShell etc.)
  • Solid German language skills in writing and speaking
  • Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a high willingness to learn and engage
  • Readiness for on-call duty
