Job description
About Us
Liapor GmbH & Co. KG is a leading manufacturer of high-quality and ecological building materials made from expanded clay. For over 50 years, we have combined tradition with innovation and sustainability to create future-proof solutions for the construction industry. Our success is based on the commitment and expertise of our employees, who work in a family-like and cooperative environment. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated and solution-oriented IT Specialist (m/f/d) who will actively shape our IT infrastructure and drive the digitization of our business processes.
Your Mission at Liapor:
As our IT Specialist, you will be the linchpin for our internal IT and the driving force behind optimizing our workflows through modern technologies. You will not only be responsible for the smooth operation of our Windows system landscape but also the creative mind who understands processes and translates them into the IT world using smart no-code applications.
Responsibilities
- Windows Administration: You will ensure the availability, security, and performance of our Windows server and client environment. This includes administering Active Directory, managing user accounts, performing updates, and resolving incidents.
- Process Digitizer with No-Code Tools: You will analyze existing business processes in various departments, identify optimization potential, and develop tailored solutions. Using no-code platforms (e.g., from the Microsoft Power Platform environment), you will create and manage intuitive applications and automated workflows to reduce manual tasks and increase efficiency.
- Interface Management: You will act as a translator and mediator between the specialist departments and IT. You will capture requirements, develop concepts, and ensure that the implemented IT solutions optimally support the processes.
- Network and Support: You will have solid foundational knowledge in network technology (LAN, WLAN, VPN) and will support the configuration and monitoring of the network infrastructure. At the same time, you will be a competent point of contact for our employees for IT questions and in 1st and 2nd level support.
- IT Documentation and Security: Thorough documentation of the system landscape and participation in the implementation of IT security policies are also part of your area of responsibility.
Profile
- Education & Experience: A completed apprenticeship in the IT field (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or a comparable qualification. Professional experience in IT system administration, ideally in a medium-sized manufacturing company.
- Windows Skills: Profound knowledge in the administration of Windows server and client operating systems, as well as experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, and DHCP.
- Enthusiasm for No-Code: A high affinity for process automation and initial practical experience with no-code or low-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Apps, Webflow-like tools). You enjoy creating efficient solutions without traditional programming.
- Process Understanding: The ability to quickly grasp new business processes and find technical solutions for business challenges.
- Network Fundamentals: Good understanding of network fundamentals and protocols.
- Personality: You are a team player with strong communication skills, an independent and structured way of working, and a high degree of service and solution orientation. You remain calm even with complex requests and find pragmatic solutions.
- Languages: Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
We Offer
- An innovative and meaningful environment: Become part of a company that produces sustainable and high-quality products and values the careful use of resources.
- Scope for initiative: With us, you will have the opportunity to actively drive digitalization and contribute and implement your own ideas.
- Family-like corporate culture: We foster an open and collegial atmosphere with flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths.
- Security and perspective: A secure job in an established and future-oriented company.
- Attractive remuneration: Performance-based pay as well as other social benefits.
- Home office option, 30 days of vacation, and much more.
