IT Specialist | IT Support – DISTRIBUTION CENTER
We are looking for an IT Specialist to provide technical support and ensure the continuity of the systems, equipment, and networks used in the operation of our Distribution Center.
What will you do?
- Provide on-site technical support to users in Operations, Customer Service, and administrative areas.
- Resolve incidents related to PDAs, scanners, printers, scales, computers, and other operational devices.
- Address problems with systems, connectivity, access, printing, and software.
- Monitor the functioning of critical networks, systems, and equipment during operation and peak hours.
- Perform maintenance, configuration, and diagnostics of computer equipment and peripherals.
- Provide support and maintenance for networks, servers, WiFi, and communication equipment.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of video surveillance and low-voltage systems.
- Manage the delivery, return, and control of technological assets.
- Execute scheduled maintenance, updates, and configuration changes.
- Document incidents, solutions, and activities performed, including handover reports between shifts.
- Coordinate with external vendors for technical support, repairs, and replacement of equipment or spare parts.
- Provide basic training and guidance to users on the use of systems and equipment.
- Support the implementation of information security measures.
What are we looking for?
- Higher Technician or Bachelor's Degree in Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Networks, Automation, or related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in IT support and operations.
- Desirable experience in logistics, parcel services, warehouses, distribution centers, or manufacturing.
- Experience in supporting hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Knowledge of Windows, networks, servers, and communication equipment.
- Experience with PDAs, scanners, printers, and equipment used in logistics operations.
- Knowledge of industrial WiFi, structured cabling, and video surveillance.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues independently.
