IT Specialist - Craiova

We are looking for a motivated and well-prepared IT Specialist, for our client in Craiova, a company from the automotive industry.

Main responsibilities:

• Providing IT support in production area, on request, for installed equipment (thin clients, printers, barcode scanners)
• Maintaining and updating an accurate inventory of IT equipment (PCs, laptops, printers), software, and resources used
• According user support in case of hardware or software problems, diagnosing and resolving incidents
• Administering and maintaining IT systems, servers, and networks for optimal performance
• Managing the network: configuration, monitoring, and ensuring security (Cisco)
• Support and maintenance for MES systems (production, flows, processes, label printing)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience
• Prior experience in a similar role (minimum 2 years – constitutes an advantage)
• Solid knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
• Experience with hardware, servers, and network equipment
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team and good communication skills
• Moderate/advanced English language knowledge

Advantage:

• Experience in the automotive industry or production environment
• Knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Experience with ERP/MES systems
• IT certifications (Microsoft, Cisco etc.)
