IT Service Technician (m/w/d) in Zwickau

Tasks

• You are responsible for performing technical tasks in the area of network and IT infrastructure at the locations Zwickau, Chemnitz, and Dresden. Your tasks include particularly:
  Patchwork: Conducting network cabling and patching according to technical specifications.
  Cable management: Laying, documenting, and testing network cables in server rooms and work areas.
  Assembly and disassembly of network components: Installing and removing routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  Basic configuration of systems: Setting up and initial configuration of network components according to technical instructions.
  Ticket-based processing: Structured processing of all tasks through a central ticket tool.
  Documentation: Careful recording of all work performed and changes in the relevant systems and tools.
• Mobility: Assignments at various locations (Zwickau, Chemnitz, and Dresden) require high travel readiness and flexibility
  Driver's license is required, pool car will be provided
  Working hours: The job may include weekend work, assignments outside regular office hours, shift work, and on-call duty.

Qualification

• Completed IT training, e.g. as a computer scientist (m/w/d) system integration, IT systems manager (m/w/d), or IT electronics technician (m/w/d)
• Professional experience from a similar job like IT technician (m/w/d), hardware technician (m/w/d), support technician (m/w/d), etc.)
• Technical understanding in the field of network technology and IT infrastructure
  Experience with network hardware and cabling
  Ability to work according to instructions and technical specifications
  Experience with ticket tools for structured task processing
  Teamwork, reliability, and self-responsible work
  Willingness to work in a shift system, on weekends, and outside office hours
• High mobility and flexibility for assignments at the locations Zwickau, Chemnitz, and Dresden
