Job description
You ensure that our network and security infrastructure is operated stably, performantly, and securely – from the data center to our locations. You will work closely with the team on the further development of modern security concepts and actively contribute to projects, optimizations, and daily operations.
Our Tech Stack:
Next-Gen Firewalls & VPNs, IDS/IPS, Proxies & Load Balancers, Switches, Routers & WLAN Controllers, Anti-Malware & Web Reputation Tools
(e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Check Point, Trend Micro, Symantec, Elastic Stack, Kemp)
What your job with us looks like:
Operation and further development of our network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN)
Administration and optimization of firewalls as well as support in expanding our security architecture
Analysis and resolution of network and security incidents in 2nd and 3rd level support
Monitoring and securing the infrastructure, including logging, SIEM, and zero-trust approaches
Infrastructure projects, migrations, and changes as well as participation in security measures
Security Incidents, Audits, and Documentation – here you will support with processing and preparation
Evaluate and manage external service providers and technologies
What we expect from you:
Completed IT training or studies or comparable practical experience
Experience in operating network and security infrastructures in data centers and at locations
Good knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, and WLAN as well as common firewall and monitoring solutions
Practical experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Check Point, or Elastic Stack
Interest in IT security and modern security concepts such as SIEM and Zero Trust
Structured, analytical working style and team spirit, as well as independent work
Very good German and good English skills
Linux know-how is a plus
