IT Security Specialist

A global logistics company providing end-to-end supply chain solutions, including air, ocean, road, and rail freight, customs brokerage, cargo insurance, and contract logistics (warehousing/distribution), is seeking an IT Security Specialist who will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all digital assets. Responsibilities: Strategy: Drive Information Security Management policies and continuous enhancement of our organization's overall security posture through collaboration with stakeholders, risk assessments, threat modeling, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Develop and maintain a comprehensive information security program that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Implement and manage security controls to protect against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, or destruction of sensitive data. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate potential security risks. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the implementation of secure configurations for all systems, applications, and networks. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration on information security matters. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field; 3+ years of experience in IT Security; CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent certification; Strong understanding of security frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001); Experience with security information and event management systems (SIEM), incident response, and threat hunting.
