IT Security Officer

As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for an IT Security Officer who will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems and data. This includes developing and implementing security policies, conducting risk assessments, monitoring system logs, and providing training and awareness programs for employees. Key responsibilities: • Develop and implement a comprehensive IT security policy that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements; • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies; • Monitor system logs and detect potential security incidents; • Provide training and awareness programs for employees on IT security best practices; • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the integration of IT security into business processes; • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in IT security and recommend improvements to our security posture. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field; • At least 3 years of experience in IT security, preferably in an energy-related industry; • In-depth knowledge of IT security frameworks and standards (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001); • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems and log analysis tools; • Strong understanding of network protocols and operating systems (Windows, Linux); • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
