We are looking for an experienced IT-Security / Cyber Defense Berater to support a company-wide Cyber Defense Center (CDC) on Level 2 and Level 3. The focus of the role lies on the rollout, strategic development, and operational operation of the CDC infrastructure.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Active participation in working groups for the development of Cyber-Defense strategies and architectures

• Operational guidance on the rollout of the Cyber Defense Center

• Support in establishing and optimizing SOC-/CDC-capabilities at L2- and L3-level

• Close cooperation with internal teams, IT departments, and external service providers

• Definition and coordination of capabilities with the IT-Security Architect

• Conducting and guiding technical security evaluations for tools, services, and architectures

• Creation of threat modeling for applications, platforms, and infrastructures

• Development, evaluation, and optimization of detection logics and derivation of use cases from threat scenarios

• Coordination, professional guidance, and evaluation of penetration tests including measure derivation

• Conducting market research on capabilities and functional evaluations, for example in the area of container scans

• In-depth and structural development of the CDC handbook, procedure guidelines, and service descriptions

• Definition and establishment of Cyber-Defense processes such as detection, response, and escalation

• Creation and maintenance of runbooks and playbooks to support process operationalization in daily operations

Muss-Anforderungen

• Several years of practical experience in the field of IT-Security / Cyber Defense / SOC / CDC

• Proven experience at L2- and L3-level

• Very good understanding of attack vectors and threat landscapes

• Funded knowledge in Incident Detection & Response

• Experience in Threat Modeling and Detection Engineering

• Experience in cooperation with penetration test providers

• Structured, methodical working style (processes, documentation, governance)

• Very good communication skills on a professional and management level

• Ability to present complex technical issues clearly

• Hands-on mentality with strategic thinking

• Self-responsible work in complex environments

• Willingness to be present on site in Stuttgart for at least 3 days per week
