IT Project Manager (m/w/d) SWIFT and Payment Processing (Ref.Nr.: 46257)

We are looking for an experienced project leader to manage IT projects in the context of payment processing. In this role, you will be responsible for strategic planning as well as operational implementation of complex projects, particularly in the context of SWIFT connections and compliance assessments.

Your Tasks

• Self-contained goal and scope management, ensuring the achievement of project goals regarding time, quality, and budget

• Selection and implementation of suitable project management methodology (classic, agile, or hybrid) in compliance with regulatory and supervisory requirements

• Independent identification and planning of required personnel and material resources, as well as corresponding budgeting

• Setting milestones and conducting project environment analyses

• Continuous monitoring of deadlines and budgets using controlling evaluations

• Independent quality assurance to ensure compliance with defined standards and acceptance of work packages

• Proactive risk management, including identification of project risks and development and control of countermeasures

• Professional evaluation and processing of change requests regarding their impact on project parameters

• Structured elaboration of alternative courses of action in case of goal conflicts, as well as documentation of decision-making templates

• Expert leadership, motivation, and development of the project team

• Creation of transparent status reports and conducting presentations before the steering committee

• Methodical definition of the test approach for manual and automated tests throughout the software lifecycle

• Creation of test concepts, test plans, and roadmaps, including definition of test phases and acceptance criteria

• Test environment management and coordination of providing test data

• Operational control of the test team, as well as monitoring of test progress, test coverage, and defect management

• Milestone-dependent and proactive reporting of test results to project leadership and stakeholders

Must Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in leading IT projects with more than 12 months of project duration in the banking sector and payment processing

• Very good knowledge and practical experience in requirements and change management

• Very good knowledge and practical experience in project planning and control (budget, resources, result objects, milestones)

• Very good knowledge and practical experience in test management

• Very good knowledge and practical experience in quality management

• Very good knowledge and practical experience in introduction management including change management (e.g. training, communication, handover)

• Experience in identifying and eliminating obstacles

• Competence in designing an effective communication within the teams

• Certification in a classical project leadership methodology (e.g. IPMA, PRINCE2, PMI) or an agile method (e.g. Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP) or comparable evidence)

• Safe handling of Microsoft Project and agile collaboration tools like Jira, Spira, Microsoft Sharepoint or Confluence

• Project experience with the introduction or ongoing operation of Swift Service Bureaus or Swift connections
