IT Project Manager (m/f/d)

Your Role With Us

As an IT Project Manager (m/f/d), you will accompany software development projects from initialization to successful completion. You will work closely with customers, development teams, and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency in goals, requirements, deadlines, and project progress.

You bring several years of experience in the IT project environment, work in a structured manner, and maintain an overview even with diverse requirements.

Responsibilities

• You plan and manage software development projects with regard to quality, budget, and deadlines.
• You coordinate project teams as well as internal and external stakeholders and ensure collaborative work.
• You support the transition from sales to project implementation and oversee structured project initialization.
• You structure requirements, assist with scope management, and ensure transparency in changes.
• You keep track of project efforts, timelines, and dependencies, and identify deviations early.
• You identify risks and develop suitable measures together with the involved parties.
• You accompany projects until successful implementation and contribute to high customer satisfaction.
• You prepare and structure project status meetings, workshops, and client meetings.

Qualifications

• You have at least 3 years of experience in leading, managing, or coordinating IT or software development projects.
• You have experience working with diverse stakeholders and interdisciplinary project teams.
• You are familiar with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban and use them confidently in day-to-day project work.
• You have a good understanding of project planning, requirements and scope management, and economic contexts.
• You have experience in managing project budgets, timelines, efforts, and risks.
• You have a fundamental technical understanding of modern software development.
• You have experience using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or comparable solutions.
• You are interested in current developments in Artificial Intelligence and use modern AI-powered tools to manage projects more efficiently and successfully.
• You are characterized by strong communication and organizational skills, as well as a structured and solution-oriented approach to work.
• You have very good German language skills at least at C1 level.

What else will impress us

• You have experience in software development, digitalization, or AI-related projects.
• You have experience in direct customer contact or in the IT consulting environment.
• You hold certifications such as Scrum Master, PRINCE2, or comparable qualifications.
• You have basic knowledge of cloud, DevOps, or architecture topics.
• You follow current technology trends and are interested in incorporating new methods and AI-driven approaches into project work.
