IT Project Manager / Coordinator Compliance & Data Protection - All Genders - Homeoffice

Your Mission.

You will take responsibility for the structured further development of our IT landscape with a clear focus on IT security, compliance, and ISO certification.

You will combine technical understanding with regulatory knowledge and ensure that our systems are secure, compliant, and future-proof.

In this role, you will steer projects independently, think in processes, and bring topics like information security, data protection, and AI governance actively forward.

Tasks

IT Project Management & Coordination

• Independent planning, management, and implementation of IT projects
• Coordination of external service providers and internal stakeholders
• Structured documentation and tracking of measures
• Setup and maintenance of checklists, guidelines, and processes

IT Security & ISO Certification

• Co-responsibility for ISO certifications (e.g. ISO 27001)
• Preliminary preparation, accompaniment, and follow-up on audits
• Setup and further development of an Information Security Management System (ISMS)
• Identification and evaluation of IT risks
• Implementation of security measures

Data Protection & Compliance

• Internal role as Data Protection Officer / Security Officer
• Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations
• Creation and maintenance of guidelines and procedure documentation
• Counseling for departments on IT and data protection topics

Future Topics & AI

• Openness to new technologies and AI topics
• Evaluation of AI tools under security and compliance aspects
• Development of internal standards for the safe use of AI

Qualification

• Multiple years of experience as IT Coordinator, IT Project Manager, or in a comparable role
• Fundamental understanding of IT infrastructures and IT security
• Experience with ISO certifications (ideally ISO 27001)
• Good understanding of legal framework conditions in the IT environment
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
• High sense of responsibility and assertiveness
• Interest in AI and future technologies
