IT Project Leader

D-Live is one of the most prominent event companies in Düsseldorf and is responsible for managing the MERKUR SPIELARENA, PSD BANK DOME, and other locations that host some of the most exciting stages in the region. Here, great moments are created: international concerts, outstanding sports events, and special live experiences that move thousands of people every year. The IT department works in a young and motivated team that drives projects forward pragmatically and with a lot of initiative. In the coming years, important digitalization and IT initiatives are planned that will further develop the company technically and modernize cooperation with event venues, service providers, and internal departments. The position being advertised supports this development and is aimed at individuals who bring first-hand experience in project management, want to take on responsibility, and enjoy bringing IT projects forward and actively shaping them.

Aufgaben

The role takes over the planning and control of relevant IT initiatives and combines operational project management with the opportunity to further develop central digitalization themes independently.

• Comprehensive control of IT projects from the first requirement to go-live, for example, when introducing a qualified electronic signature or implementing a new learning platform
• Structured intake, analysis, and preparation of requirements as well as creation of project briefs, timelines, and milestones, including integrations such as binding the personnel system to existing IT structures
• Coordination of internal and external stakeholders and control of service providers, for example, when consolidating existing insolation solutions or further developing ITSM- and ITIL processes
• Analysis of dependencies and risks in the project portfolio and independent prioritization of ongoing topics in coordination with the IT department
• Transparent communication to project progress, challenges, and decisions as well as careful documentation of relevant results
• Support for further developing internal workflows, standards, and structures for a modern and future-oriented IT landscape

Qualifikation

• At least two to three years of experience in IT project management and interest in independently implementing different projects
• Basic understanding and enthusiasm for IT connections and digital processes, without a technical background being necessarily required
• Experience with classical or agile project methods, such as PRINCE2, Scrum, or Kanban
• Structured and independent working style as well as the ability to manage multiple topics parallelly
• Excellent communication skills and confident appearance in exchange with internal stakeholders and external service providers
• High motivation, organizational, and technical developments actively shaping
• Proactive and responsible attitude towards projects and tasks
