AMO is a non-profit research institute in the field of nanotechnology with around 100 employees. Together, we develop technologies for tomorrow and create a modern, digital work environment for research, administration, and technical infrastructure.

Aufgaben

Your tasks:

• Implementation of our IT roadmap

• You will take the lead in implementing our ongoing IT modernization and develop our IT landscape together with departments, management, and external partners continuously.

• Leadership of IT and digitalization projects

• You plan, steer, and document projects in the areas of Microsoft 365, Cloud Services, End Devices, Network, Security, and Digital Collaboration.

• Responsibility for the Microsoft-365-platform

• You develop our Microsoft-365-environment further and are responsible for topics such as Entra ID, Intune, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Security.

• Management of external service providers

• You coordinate external IT partners, evaluate technical solutions, and ensure the successful implementation of projects.

• IT security and governance

• You establish and develop standards, processes, and guidelines in the areas of information security, authorization management, data classification, backup, and compliance.

• Fachliche coordination of the IT department

• You prioritize tasks, coordinate ongoing IT operations, and support the professional development of existing IT staff.

• Change management and digitalization

• You accompany the introduction of new systems, support users in changes, and promote digital collaboration within the institute.

Qualifikation

Your profile:

• Completed education or studies in IT or a comparable qualification

• Multiple years of professional experience in the administration and further development of IT infrastructure

• Experience in planning and implementing IT projects

• Interest and initial experience in the topic of digital sovereignty

• Knowledge in several of the following areas:

• Microsoft 365

• Entra ID and Intune

• Networks and firewalls

• Windows- and Linux-servers

• Virtualization

• IT security and compliance

• Experience in collaboration with external service providers

• Structured, self-responsible, and solution-oriented working style

• You communicate clearly, respectfully, and on an equal footing. You are able to involve different stakeholders, connect teams, and create acceptance in change processes.

• Very good German and good English skills

Wünschenswert

• Experience in coordinating employees
• Knowledge in the area of Digital Workplace, SharePoint or Teams
• Experience with IT governance, information security or process management
