IT Project Manager, Payment (Banking, 1-year renewable contract)

Job description

Key Responsibilities Lead overall coordination, status reporting, and execution of project work efforts to ensure successful delivery. Establish and implement standardized project management processes and methodologies to deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned with business and quality expectations. Develop comprehensive project plans, assign tasks to team members, and oversee daily work efforts. Monitor progress, identify resource needs, conduct quality reviews, and escalate issues as necessary. Ensure effective communication among stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and customers. Coordinate and manage project resources, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management. Develop and maintain project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and lessons learned. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure successful project delivery. Conduct post-project reviews to identify best practices and areas for improvement.
