We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to take ownership of the IT management and delivery of a major new building construction and expansion project in Catania.

This is a highly collaborative role, where you will be the key liaison between local and global IT teams, construction and Facility Management teams, business stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring all IT requirements are successfully designed, implemented, tested, and handed over to operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of IT infrastructure, LAN/WLAN, ISP and network connectivity
• Coordinate integration with global network architecture, routing, firewalls and security policies
• Manage requirements for IT Labs, IT Workplace, meeting rooms and videoconferencing systems
• Coordinate IT requirements with Facility Management, construction teams and external vendors
• Collaborate closely with global teams for Connectivity, Lab IT, Workplace IT and WAN
• Coordinate design of racks, comms rooms, UPS, patch panels and network infrastructure
• Lead the migration, testing, acceptance and cutover activities
• Develop cutover plans, rollback strategies, go/no-go criteria and implementation runbooks
• Ensure accurate documentation related to project, network, workplace and decommissioning
• Drive projects through to successful implementation, managing stakeholders, risks and dependencies

Required Experience

• Proven experience in IT Project Management, preferably in complex and global IT environments
• Good knowledge of network infrastructure, connectivity and IT Workplace
• Experience working with construction teams, Facility Management, Site IT or in office relocation/expansion projects
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills
• Excellent organizational, communication and documentation skills
• Proactive and structured approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and workstreams simultaneously
• Excellent knowledge of Italian and English
