IT Project Manager – Assessment

Our Proposal:

For one of our clients in the Telco sector, we are looking for an IT Project Manager – Assessment. The resource, joining the Project Management team, will be responsible for conducting technical and organizational assessments aimed at analyzing the state of the IT infrastructure, ICT services, and technological processes, with the objective of identifying improvement opportunities, defining evolutionary roadmaps, and supporting the client's strategic decisions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate assessment activities in the infrastructural, application, cloud, and cybersecurity domains;
• Gather and analyze business and technical requirements through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder meetings;
• Evaluate the existing IT architecture, operational processes, service levels, and the organization's technological maturity level;
• Analyze network infrastructures, systems, data centers, cloud environments, collaboration platforms, and security solutions;
• Identify critical issues, risks, dependencies, and optimization opportunities from a technological, organizational, and economic perspective;
• Define evolutionary roadmaps, digital transformation plans, and technological migration strategies;
• Coordinate contributions from various specialist teams involved in assessment activities;
• Prepare technical documentation, executive summaries, assessment reports, and management presentations;
• Present assessment results to management and stakeholders, illustrating recommendations, expected benefits, and intervention priorities;
• Monitor project activity timelines, deliverables, milestones, and quality, ensuring adherence to agreed deadlines;
• Support the preparation of technical proposals, business cases, and documentation for tenders and project initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in IT project management and conducting technological assessments;
• Knowledge of main infrastructural architectures, networking, systems, cloud, and cybersecurity;
• Ability to analyze IT processes, ICT services, and organizational models;
• Excellent ability to draft technical documentation and executive reporting;
• Knowledge of Project Management methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) and ITIL frameworks;
• Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.

Operational Mode:

Activities will be carried out in a hybrid mode at the client's sites in Rome or Milan.

Compensation & Benefits:

The economic proposal will be evaluated based on the candidate's seniority and skills.

Gross Annual Salary (28000-30000) + TKT

Selection Process:

The selection process includes an initial introductory/motivational discussion with the dedicated HR representative and a subsequent phase of evaluation and presentation of technical/project themes.
