IT Product Owner e-Commerce Platform

Job Description The IT Product Owner will own the definition, delivery, and continuous improvement of our new custom developed e-commerce platform and its integration with the respective Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and ERP, including finance, stock and supply chain management. This platform is to be developed to serve all Eurofins businesses globally that engage customers through e-commerce. The role will partner closely with business stakeholders, sales teams, supply chain management, and other departments to ensure alignment of the e-commerce platform with overall business objectives. Key responsibilities include: • Define and prioritize product backlog items in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, sales teams, and technical teams. • Work closely with development teams to ensure that the e-commerce platform is developed according to agreed-upon requirements and timelines. • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that the e-commerce platform meets required standards for quality, security, and compliance. • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, including prioritization of features and functionalities. • Ensure that the e-commerce platform integrates seamlessly with existing systems, such as LIMS and ERP, and other business applications. • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, sales teams, and technical teams. • Ensure that the e-commerce platform is scalable, secure, and compliant with relevant regulations and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have: • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, their features, and functionalities. • Experience in product ownership or a similar role, preferably in an e-commerce environment. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and departments. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
