Managing multiple concurrent projects within a Finance portfolio, from initiation to implementation and business adoption. Monitoring scope, budget, planning, resources, and quality throughout the entire project lifecycle. Developing and maintaining project plans, budgets, resource plans, RAID logs, and other governance documentation. Applying project management methodologies, governance standards, and delivery frameworks. Reporting on progress, risks, issues, and dependencies to sponsors, steering committees, and senior management. Ensuring compliance with PMO standards, stage gates, and project governance. Building and maintaining strong relationships with Finance leaders and other key business and IT stakeholders. Facilitating decision-making and alignment between different departments and teams. Acting as a central escalation point for project risks, issues, and dependencies. Coordinating business teams, IT teams, external vendors, and system integrators. Leading projects focused on Finance transformation, process optimization, and digitalization. Supporting initiatives within Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Treasury & Cash Management, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Reporting & Compliance, and Master Data Governance, among others. Ensuring that solutions align with the financial operating model, governance, and strategic business objectives. Proactively identifying, analyzing, and following up on risks and dependencies. Initiating and following up on mitigation actions and escalating in a timely manner when necessary. Managing scope changes through formal change control processes. Ensuring that project deliverables meet agreed-upon quality standards and business expectations. Leading cutover and deployment activities for relevant projects and programs. Developing and managing cutover plans, deployment schedules, and readiness assessments. Coordinating business readiness, training, support, communication, and the transition to the operational organization. Organizing and facilitating go/no-go decision-making and executive readiness reviews. Managing deployment risks, fallback scenarios, and hypercare after go-live. Ensuring a successful transition to business-as-usual. Documenting lessons learned and promoting best practices within the Finance portfolio. Identifying improvement opportunities within project delivery, governance, and stakeholder management. Contributing to the further professionalization of project management and portfolio management processes. Job Requirements Required skills: - Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with demonstrable experience in complex business and IT projects. - Extensive experience in simultaneously managing and successfully delivering multiple projects. - Demonstrable experience with Finance-related projects and transformation initiatives. - Strong knowledge of financial processes and business operations. - Thorough knowledge of Finance processes such as Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Record-to-Report. - Experience with SAP ERP environments, preferably within SAP S/4HANA programs. - Experience with Finance transformation, process optimization, digitalization, and ERP implementations. - Experience with regulatory, reporting, and compliance projects within a Finance context. - Strong knowledge of project governance, PMO processes, stage gates, and delivery frameworks. - Experience with budget management, resource planning, scheduling, and risk and issue management. - Strong experience with RAID management and dependency management. - Demonstrable experience with formal change control processes. - Experience in managing and coordinating cross-functional and international project teams. - Experience with vendor management and managing external vendors and system integrators. - Demonstrable experience with test management, deployment, cutover, and go-live activities within large-scale transformation programs. - Knowledge of business readiness, operational transition, hypercare, and fallback strategies. - Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills. - Strong communication and presentation skills, including reporting to senior management and steering committees. - Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on and pragmatic approach. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to function efficiently in complex environments with many stakeholders and differing interests. - Results-oriented, strong in execution, and with a clear sense of ownership and accountability.
