IT Operations & Security Engineer

As IT Operation & Security Engineer (m/w/d), you will be responsible for operating, automating, and securing our IT infrastructure.

Our technical Key Assets are:

• API-first approach with clean versioning and OpenAPI specification
• Certified security, DSGVO-compliant & end-to-end encryption
• Modern service-oriented architecture, Docker, and CI/CD pipeline
• WebRTC-based video technology for stable real-time communication

Aufgaben

Your Responsibility

As IT Operations & Security Engineer (m/w/d)

• You will be part of a nine-member technical team
• You will work closely with our Solution Owner SysDevOps
• You will be responsible for operating, automating, and securing our IT infrastructure and support the development teams in providing and securing modern applications

Your Tasks

• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Automating deployments and infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code, e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• Collaboration with development teams to optimize release processes
• End-to-end management of CI/CD pipeline automation
• Creating and operating monitoring & observability of productive IT systems and services
• Implementing and monitoring security guidelines and measures.
• Conducting vulnerability analyses and penetration tests
• Incident response and ensuring compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, BSI C5).

Qualifikation

You bring with you

• A completed degree in computer science or equivalent training with several years of professional experience.
• In-depth knowledge of IaC (Infrastructure as Code)
• Experience in automating systems and processes (e.g., with Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• In-depth knowledge of monitoring & observability (Observability)
• Scripting languages (Bash, Python, TypeScript) are familiar to you.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and teamwork
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least C1)

Bonus, but not a must:

• Knowledge of project and requirements management
