IT Operations Engineer (gn)

Your Tasks

As an IT Operations Engineer (gn), you will shape the path from support-driven operations to standardized, cloud-based, and largely automated processes together with your team. You will work in a Cloud-Only environment based on Microsoft 365 and Azure and have real influence on stability, security, and scalability of our IT. • You standardize, develop, and automate IT operations processes in our Cloud-Only environment and drive transformation actively forward
• You plan, implement, and operate complex Microsoft 365 and Azure configurations – including SSO/IdP, MFA, RBAC, and Access Reviews
• You are responsible for incident-, problem-, and change-management according to ITIL principles with SLA focus and analyze incidents sustainably rather than symptomatically
• You handle IT security incidents, take over incident response (EDR, M365 Defender, Compliance Center), and work closely with our SOC
• You support the audit of information security certification according to ISO 27001
• You develop our UEM/MDM setup with Intune further – for Windows, iOS, and macOS, including software distribution and policy management

Your Strengths

• You bring fundamental practical experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure (SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, Entra, Azure)
• You have a very good understanding of ITIL-based incident-, problem-, and change-management and work structured and solution-oriented
• You have experience in IT security operations and incident response – EDR, M365 Defender, and the Compliance Center are familiar to you
• You have a strong hands-on mindset, take early responsibility, and get directly involved
• Experience with automating IT processes (scripting, workflow automation, M365 automations) or first contacts with KI-supported supporting functions are a plus
• You possess fluent German (C1) and English (B2) language skills
