IT Operation Manager (m/w/d)

We are looking for an IT Operation Manager (m/w/d) for a well-established company in the financial sector located in Munich.

In this role, you will take on a central interface function between IT operations, internal departments, and external service providers. You will ensure that IT services run smoothly, are properly documented, and continuously developed.

This position is suitable for individuals who combine technical understanding with organization, communication, and service orientation.

Aufgaben

• Planning, control, and further development of IT services
• Building and maintaining a structured service catalog
• Accompanying and coordinating the introduction of new IT services from inception to stable operation
• Monitoring availability, performance, and service quality
• Coordination in case of disruptions, service outages, and escalations
• Analyzing recurring service problems and deriving sustainable solutions
• Maintaining and monitoring service level agreements
• Controlling external service providers and internal implementation teams
• Coordinating IT changes in ongoing operation
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, process descriptions, and implementation concepts
• Participating in improvement projects in IT service management

Qualifikation

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a comparable qualification
• Experience in IT service management or IT operations
• Good knowledge of incident management, problem management, and change management
• Ideal knowledge of ITIL or comparable IT service management frameworks
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and technical operational processes
• Experience in collaboration with external service providers
• Structured, solution-oriented, and reliable working style
• Communication skills and pleasure in cooperation with different interfaces
• Experience in project management or continuous improvement processes is advantageous
