IT Network Specialist - Firewall (m/w/d)

Tasks

• As a competent contact person, you are responsible for advising our customers on the further development of network infrastructure in the areas of network and security.
• You design and implement complex network and firewall solutions, are responsible for configuring, installing, and commissioning security-defined networking infrastructures.
• Your focus should be on solutions from Palo Alto or CISCO or Fortyget.
• In addition, you will configure, install, and commission security-defined networking infrastructures.
• Due to your extensive experience, you are able to operate networks and firewalls as smoothly as possible without interruptions.
• The planning and migration concepts required for this purpose are within your responsibility.
• You also support sales in the pre-sales phase and are responsible for creating documentation.

Qualification

• Completed technical degree from the field of computer science or comparable training with several years of professional experience.
• Very good knowledge in at least one of the following topic areas: Routing & Switching, Datacenter- & Cloud Networking, Network Security.
• Very good knowledge of Palo Alto or CISCO or Fortyget.
• A or multiple Professional Level certifications in the topic areas are desirable.
• Teamwork skills, self-initiative, and a willingness to develop further, as well as very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking.
• We particularly appreciate personal analytical skills, problem-solving competence, and communication skills.
