Tasks

• IT Monitoring & Event Management You will support our clients in the introduction, configuration, and operation of solutions for IT operations, central event and alarm management, and automation.
• IBM Netcool & AIOps IBM Netcool is a specialized enterprise tool. Prior knowledge is the exception, not the rule. We will train you specifically so that you can then independently support clients in migrating to the AI-based successor product IBM Concert Operate and technically contribute to its development.
• Troubleshooting You systematically analyze complex technical problems, get to the root cause, and develop sustainable solutions, either as part of a team or independently.
• Client Responsibility After onboarding, you will independently take responsibility for your clients, contribute your own ideas, and jointly develop technically sound solutions with them.
• Teamwork You are part of a team where mutual support is a matter of course. You contribute your knowledge, learn from others, and grow together with the team.
• Further Development You will continuously deepen your technical knowledge and acquire certifications, especially in the IBM environment.

Qualification

• Education & Experience You have successfully completed an IT education or degree. What counts is your many years of practical experience in monitoring and operating IT environments: on-premises, in the cloud, or hybrid.
• IT Infrastructure & Operations You are familiar with Linux and Windows, as well as basic network concepts, and can reliably assess technical dependencies.
• Monitoring You have sound experience with monitoring solutions, know when a particular approach is appropriate, and are familiar with typical integration patterns, e.g., via REST interfaces or SNMP.
• Automation You independently and practically use tools like Ansible and scripting languages like Bash.
• Containers You are proficient with Kubernetes and know its role in operating modern, container-based infrastructures from practical experience.
• Technical Judgment You question existing solutions, evaluate alternatives, and develop recommendations that you can clearly justify, including to clients.
• Passion for Solutions & Team Spirit You approach technical challenges with curiosity and enjoy developing your own solution approaches. You don't just want to operate; you want to contribute to shaping things and know that the best solutions emerge in a team.
• Communication & Customer Orientation You communicate confidently in German (min. C1) and English, can convey complex issues understandably, and enjoy working with clients.
• IBM Know-how Experience with IBM Netcool or comparable solutions, as well as RedHat OpenShift, is an advantage. More important is your ability to quickly and thoroughly familiarize yourself with new technologies.
