We are looking for an IT Manager (m/w/d) at Securepoint GmbH. The company develops and operates comprehensive IT security solutions for companies, authorities, and institutions since 1997. The focus lies on a fully developed security platform that unites network-, endpoint-, cloud-, data- and human security. All products, systems, and services are consistently developed in-house, operated, and continuously further developed for maximum independence and highest security standards.

Aufgaben

• Disciplinary leadership and development of team leaders in the areas of IT support and IT infrastructure.
• Planning, prioritization, and steering of IT projects as well as translating strategic goals into concrete measures.
• Safeguarding a stable and future-oriented IT operation together with the two teams.
• Coordination of complex infrastructure projects as well as identification of dependencies.
• Closely working with the department head and relevant departments to continuously develop the IT.
• Fostering open, team-oriented collaboration and supporting the team in professional and personal developments.
• Shaping organizational structures and optimizing existing processes in a growing company environment.

Qualifikation

• Multiple years of experience in the IT field, ideally with responsibility for IT projects or teams.
• Experience in project management as well as a structured and methodical approach.
• First or multiple-year leadership experience, disciplinary or professionally.
• Good knowledge of Linux systems as well as a basic understanding of modern IT infrastructures.
• Basic understanding of networks, firewalls or IT security.
• Communication strength and the ability to get teams through changes and delegate responsibility sensibly.
• Eigenverantwortliche, lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise and joy in developing structures.
• Very good German language skills in writing and speaking.
• Ideal experience in the Open-Source field or personal interest in IT and security topics.
• Contact points with governance themes, data center operation or automation are advantageous but not a must.
