IT MANAGER – BUSINESS SYSTEMS & DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

POSITION SCOPE

The IT Manager – Business Systems & Digital Transformation coordinates the entire IT function at the group of companies level, ensuring the efficient, secure, and continuous operation of IT infrastructure, applications, and services. The role represents a liaison between the business and IT solution providers: it deeply understands the company's operational processes, coordinates the IT vendor ecosystem, leads digitalization projects, and connects operational requirements with IT solutions.

The position reports to the General Manager.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

•        Develops and implements the IT strategy in line with business objectives, sets IT project priorities, proposes and manages the department's annual budget;

•        Understands the operational processes of all departments and transforms business requirements into IT solutions, defining workflows, business rules, and necessary functionalities together with users and providers;

•        Coordinates the implementation and development projects of IT systems and digitalization, ensuring planning, requirements definition, testing, implementation, and user training;

•        Coordinates the implementation and adherence to IT security policies — access rights, authentication, antivirus solutions, backup and recovery — and the necessary measures for business continuity;

•        Coordinates the relationship with all IT service and solution providers (infrastructure, servers, networking, communications, ERP, software, cybersecurity, etc.), negotiates contracts, and monitors adherence to SLAs and service quality levels;

•        Ensures the functional administration and development of business applications used within the company, being the main point of contact between users and software providers;

•        Coordinates the internal team's activity and monitors the efficient resolution of user requests related to equipment, accounts, access rights, and hardware/software incidents;

•        Is responsible for the administration of IT assets and software licenses, plans the acquisition, replacement, and decommissioning of equipment, and monitors the execution of the IT budget and necessary investments;

•        Continuously monitors IT system performance, identifies operational risks, and proposes solutions that support the group's efficiency and strategic objectives;

•        Collaborates continuously with management and all departments to identify opportunities for automation, digitalization, and optimization of business processes;

•        Periodically reports to management on the IT infrastructure status, ongoing projects, major incidents, and risks, and annually proposes the company's development and digitalization plan.

REQUIREMENTS

•        Completed university studies in IT, Automation, Informatics, Cybernetics, or related fields;

•        Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure: networks, servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365/Exchange, virtualization, backup, cybersecurity;

•        Minimum 15 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a similar role;

•        Understanding of business processes and the ability to transform operational requirements into IT solutions;

•        Experience in implementing and administering business applications (ERP, DMS, HR, production, CRM, or similar systems);

•        Experience in cloud migration and Microsoft 365;

•        Experience in IT and digitalization project management;

•        Experience in managing IT budgets and acquiring equipment and services;

•        Experience in coordinating external IT and software service providers;

•        Very good analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills;

•        Ability to communicate with both business users and technical providers;

•        English language – advanced level.

Considered an advantage

•        Experience with complex ERPs (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Charisma, etc.);

•        Experience in construction, manufacturing companies, or medium-sized multi-site projects;

•        Experience in implementing DMS, BPM, or digital workflows;

•        PMP, Prince2, ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, or Cyber Security certifications;
