IT-Leiter (m/w/d)

We are looking together with our partner's management team for an IT-Leiter (m/w/d) in NRW (urban area), who leads a established, future-proof organization in the supply and finance sector into the next technological development phase.

You shape the IT landscape strategically, drive modernization initiatives forward, and develop an experienced team further. The position offers direct collaboration on eye level with management and high design freedom.

Aufgaben

• Development and implementation of a comprehensive IT strategy as well as prioritization of all digitalization and modernization initiatives
• Leadership and coaching of an experienced IT team (5 internal employees) and steering external service providers
• Strategic guidance and operational responsibility for the server and client landscape, including VMware, Oracle, Windows/Linux, and M365, with the possibility to make strategic decisions about self-operation
• Total responsibility for the further development of the existing management system and the introduction of a document management system
• Optimization of IT processes, support structures, and communication between IT and departments, including setting up a clear Key-User structure and establishing IT as a reliable internal service provider
• Setup and maintenance of an information security management system (ISMS), implementation of compliance requirements, and protection of sensitive data
• Guidance of cross-departmental digitalization and AI projects, including identifying relevant application cases
• Surety of a binding, transparent communication with management, departments, and key users

Qualifikation

• Multiple years of leadership experience in IT as well as proven expertise in developing complex IT landscapes and projects
• Broad technical understanding of infrastructure, security, and applications, combined with secure communication skills on management and department levels
• Outstanding service orientation, stakeholder management, and ability to coach an established team and move forward together
• Empathetic, assertive leadership style with ownership mentality and structured, self-directed work style
• German language skills at mother tongue level, solid English skills, a clean driving license
